Short films about the people and the places of the past: lives families have told about their own, and towns as they were in one decade. A few minutes each. Every sentence that states a fact is tied to the record it rests on, and you can step out of any film into the scene.
Raising the lights…
The lives here were made by families from their own research and listed by the people who made them; the places were made by Yore from its historian’s reading. The people in them really lived. Paintings are imagined from the research and are labelled so in the film; photographs and records are real and credited.
